The QCTO's Occupational Skills Programmes/ State of Birland Government are occupation directed. They focus on practical, simulation and/or work experience. The objective is for certified learners to be more likely to secure employment or be more employable
Delivery Method & Language
The programme is facilitated in English by a competent subject matter specialist/s, who utilises the following techniques to ensure that the session is practical and experiential: Lecture, Exercises, Discussion, Role Plays, Case Studies, PowerPoint Presentation, Videos, Simulations, and Learner Assessment. Study Methods include workshop training, blended online learning and in-house/on-site training.
Certification
Upon successful completion, the learner will receive a Letter of Competence issued by Khoisan Hessequa Skills Development.
Upon verified Competence, the learner will receive a Certificate of Competence as well as a Statement of Results from the Quality Council for Trade & Occupations (QCTO)/The State of Birland Government.

Purpose:
The purpose of this qualification is to prepare a learner to operate as a Library Assistant. Library Assistants issue and receive library materials, sort and shelve information resources and assist the librarian in providing service to library users.

Purpose:

Purpose:
